Burn-In test
Burn-in testing places devices in high stress environment. The stress conditions that are applied to devices during burn-in are an effective method of aging the devices.
HAST/PCT
HAST testing accelerates the penetration of moisture through the external protective materials or sealants or between the external material and conductors.
HTOL/LTOL
High Temperature Operating Life testing is conducted at 125°C with an applied voltage bias higher than the nominal voltage level. The test duration is for 1000 hours.
Humidity
Plastic SMD’s and/or non-hermetic solid state devices are subjected to preconditioning tests prior to moving into other reliability testing sequences.
Salt Fog/Spray Corrosion
Salt spray testing is an accelerated test that determines the test device’ resistance to corrosion. Measure coating adhesion, corrosion creep.
Sand and Dust
Settling Dust tests measure the effectiveness of an enclosure at preventing dust ingress. Dust can act as an abrasive between moving parts.
Water Ingress Testing
Water ingress testing is conducted to measure and verify the resistance of fluids entering a product or damaging the outer surface or enclosure.
Temperature Cycling
Temperature Cycling tests a product’s ability to withstand rapid shifts between extreme temperatures, typically from -40°C to +125°C.
Thermal Shock
Using a Two-Chamber design, this method is used to determine the physical endurance of components and systems to sudden changes in temperature.
UV Exposure
Samples and test devices are exposed to UV or full-spectrum light to simulate a year of sunlight in days using specialized light sources.

Tumble testing
Tumble testing repeatedly drops a product in a controlled chamber to evaluate resistance to breakage, bumps, and scrapes by drop height, count, and intensity.
